MIXDAY Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
MIXDAY is a rehearsal scheduling service that can be used without account registration. The following information may be stored while using the service.
1. Information stored
- Room name, encrypted representation of the room password, schedules, and notes in the room
- Participant nickname, selected color, and available/unavailable responses
- For the optional saved-profile feature: MIXDAY ID, encrypted password and recovery code, nickname, color, and schedule
- If notifications are enabled: browser subscription information or a device push token needed to deliver notifications
- One-way processed identifiers used for room-creation limits and password-attempt limits
Email address, legal name, postal address, and phone number are not required for scheduling. MIXDAY does not itself create advertising-tracking profiles. When Google advertising is enabled, Google may process IP addresses, device and app information, advertising identifiers where permitted, and ad interactions according to consent and device settings.
2. Purpose
Stored information is used for room scheduling, room access verification, optional rehearsal confirmation and reminder notifications, service stability, abuse prevention, and advertising measurement as described below.
3. Retention and deletion
- A room can be deleted by a user with the room password. Deleting a room also deletes its members, responses, notes, schedules, and notification information.
- Rooms unused for three months are automatically deleted.
- Saved-profile connections and saved-profile schedules are deleted 60 days after the profile's last use. Responses and notes already left in a room may remain as part of that room's schedule record.
- Theme, favorites, and login-ID information stored only on a device can be deleted by clearing that device's browser storage.
4. External services
The service may use hosting and database infrastructure and, when notifications are enabled, Apple Push Notification Service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, or web-push delivery services. Each provider's own policy may apply to its processing.
5. Advertising and privacy choices
The web service may use Google AdSense; supported iOS and Android app versions use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) for in-feed advertising. Availability varies by version, region, consent and ad supply. Non-personalized ads may still involve data processing for delivery, fraud prevention and measurement.
Google consent messages may be shown where required, including the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where available, use the app's advertising privacy options to review your choices. On iOS, an App Tracking Transparency prompt may be shown when tracking permission is requested. You can change permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Refusing tracking does not prevent rehearsal scheduling.
Top banners and popup sponsor ads use images and links selected by the operator. MIXDAY does not pass room passwords, schedules or nicknames to sponsors through these links. Visiting an advertiser's site is subject to that site's privacy policy. Hosting and destination servers may receive normal request information such as IP addresses.
The popup's “Do not show again today” preference is stored locally only when selected and the popup is closed. It applies to that browser or app storage for the local calendar day. Clearing storage may reset it. Ad and consent technologies may use cookies or local storage.
See Google's Privacy Policy and Google advertising technologies. Google determines retention for data it processes under its policies; room-deletion periods do not apply to Google's data.
First-party sponsor measurement
To measure promotion and sponsor advertising, MIXDAY receives the creative ID, placement (header or popup), platform (web, iOS or Android), and impression or click event, and stores daily totals using Korea Standard Time. These metrics are not linked to accounts, nicknames, rooms, advertising identifiers or persistent device IDs. IP addresses are not stored in the metrics database; normal network and hosting request processing is separate. Duplicate suppression exists only in device memory during the current lobby visit, with no tracking identifier saved to device storage. Daily totals are deleted during scheduled cleanup after 90 days. Advertisers receive only aggregate impressions, clicks and click-through rates. We do not combine these metrics with other companies’ user data or create individual advertising profiles. Measurement applies to the web service and supported app versions.
6. Support and advertising reports
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments to handle your request. Do not include passwords, recovery codes or unrelated personal information. For access, correction or deletion requests, contact us below; we may need enough information to identify the relevant record.
